Educational Work
The most pious work of the Raosaheb is his devotion in
the field of education. Education is the key to unlock
the tied destinies and opportunities of the masses.
These thoughts made up his mind to spread the awareness
of education when he was a member and active worker in
Municipal Council. He tried to start matriculation
classes in A.V.Highschool of council. When the Municipal
council decided to stop the working of the school, he
took initiative and with the great help of his friend
Ad. Sadashiv Vyankatesh Koranne and Sheth Premraj
Mangniramhe decided to run it privately. In 1916 he
founded ‘New English School’ and ‘East Khandesh
Education Society’. Till 1934 he offered some rooms of
his bungalow for the educational purpose. Afterward he
purchased three Bighas land and donated it to the

cultural activities in Khandesh. That was contemporary
educational revolution which reached in corners of
Maharashtra.
He opened one branch of New English School at City
